Kath was born in1947 to parents Frank and Barbara. She was the second oldest to sister Margaret and brothers David, Frank, Jeffery and Ian.
After leaving school she started work at a factory in Cowpen , there she met Michael Storey and romance soon blossomed and in 1967 they married.
In 1970 after a long awaited arrival her first daughter Wendy was born.
